About:
- Ashleigh (female, she/they) is a neurodivergent, queer, disabled mentor, providing an approachable and safe space for autistic/AuDHD/ADHD/dyslexic students. LGBTQIA+ friendly; everyone welcome.
Mentoring offered:
- Specialist ASC University Mentoring Support - Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia. (Strong knowledge and training in mental health and physical disability alongside neurodivergence)
- Extensive experience working with diverse disabilities across many UK universities including placement programmes abroad.
- Can support undergraduate and postgraduate level including PhD.
- Focus on wellbeing support, time management and organisation, breaking down tasks and management of deadlines.
- Other topics that can be covered: education on neurodivergence and terminology e.g., hyperfocus/shutdown/alexithymia, coming to terms with diagnosis, breathwork, grounding, creative activities.
- Sessions are bespoke and personalised to each student.
Delivery:
- Based in Hampshire, UK.
- Face-to-face support is available in Portsmouth, UK, on a hybrid basis. Remote sessions (nationwide) are scheduled online via Teams.
- Fast referrals - contact made within 24 hours.
- Flexible availability, including evenings.
- Years of experience with multiple mentoring organisations.
